SHELBY, Iowa — An Iowa firefighter died Sunday when he was struck by a vehicle.
Shelby Fire & Rescue Department Volunteer Firefighter Michael Collins, 41, was working a traffic control point at the scene of a motor vehicle accident when the vehicle hit him.
The incident remains under investigation.
