A Scott County firefighter has been charged with theft after police say he used the fire department’s credit cards for personal expenses.
Firefighter Terry Hisle is charged with one count of theft by unlawful taking after he used the fire department’s credit cards to purchase gas for his personal vehicle, Georgetown Police Capt. Scott Starns said. The gas, valued at about $7,000, was purchased at Southern States in Georgetown with a fire department gas card, Starns said. He added there is clear evidence in the case.
"(Hisle) was captured on videotape putting gas into his personal vehicle,” Starns said.
