LAS VEGAS — Metro Police say emergency officials responded to a fire call on Comstock Drive near Washington & MLK around 12:30pm. When firefighters arrived they saw a man come around the corner of the house with a gun. Two shots were fired, one breaking a window in the fire truck.
“My fireman could clearly see him leveling the gun in their direction and taking shots,” Captain Vincent Whitney with Las Vegas Fire says.
Meanwhile, the eight firefighters in the two trucks could only take cover.
