The Associated Press

WORCESTER, Mass.- Fire investigators in Worcester are probing a four-alarm blaze that gutted a fraternity house early yesterday morning.

The flames broke out just after five a.m. at the Tau Kappa Epsilon House at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Sixteen people were evacuated -- one was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

Fraternity members who live in the Wachusett Avenue home say windows were blowing out as flames consumed the building, which has been home to Tau Kappa Epsilon for 15 years.
