BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. — A Baltimore County firefighter and paramedic died last night while on duty, the fire department said today in a statement.
Brian D. Neville, 32, was working last night at the Baltimore County Fire Department’s Texas Fire Station on York Road as an EMS district supervisor. He is normally assigned to the Hillendale Fire Station.
Neville was found this morning at the Texas station at the district supervisor’s office by colleagues who had arrived to relieve him, according to the fire department. The state medical examiner will perform an autopsy to determine Neville’s cause of death, the department’s statement said.
Neville had worked with the Fire Department since 2001 and had also been assigned to the Westview, Woodlawn and Catonsville stations. He lived in Abingdon, in Harford County, with his wife and three young children.
