Family and friends of a missing Oak Ridge firefighter who disappeared nearly two months ago have made a step towards closure.
Fishermen discovered the body of Herb Freshour Tuesday afternoon in Watts Bar Lake in Roane County.
That’s about 29 miles from where searchers had concentrated their efforts in late December and early January.
