A quick-acting motorist from Fort Erie flagged down a burning bus this morning on the QEW and alerted the driver to a fire rapidly spreading on the bus, the Ontario Provincial Police say.
Immediately, the bus driver pulled over on the QEW just north of Fort Erie and all 10 people were able to get off before the bus became totally engulfed in flames.
The accident happened around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday.
