Family of 36-year-old Jose Luis Ramirez tell KFOX they’re trying to keep strong and and keep their son’s memory alive.
Ramirez died Saturday morning while he was responding to a medical call as a volunteer firefighter. An eyewitness told KFOX he saw the rescue unit hit a light pole and roll over. Firefighters say he died a short time later.
Ramirez’s father told KFOX his son was a caring man. “He always did his best to help the community as much as he could,” said his father Jose Ramirez.
