New York — A veteran New York City firefighter is revealing details from a lawsuit he’s filing today alleging racial hatred in Brooklyn firehouse.
Firefighter Lanaird Granger says he found a black noose near his gear last January inside Engine Company 238 on Greenpoint Avenue.
He says since then city officials have done nothing to change the fire department’s racial bias.
