NEW YORK — A Brooklyn firefighter who fatally struck a drunken pedestrian and drove away will avoid jail time, instead lecturing schoolkids on the dangers of reckless driving.
Pat Quagliarello, who had been charged with criminally negligent homicide in the death of Manuel Tzajguachiac, got three years’ probation.
