ABERDEEN, Scotland — Firefighters are being sued for £50,000 over claims they failed to put out a blaze properly.
A judge ruled that Grampian Fire and Rescue service had a duty of reasonable care towards resident Derek Burnett.
He claimed fire broke out at his Aberdeen home in October 2000 after firefighters failed to extinguish properly a blaze which began in a neighbouring flat.
