CARMEL, Ind. — An animated video denouncing an Indiana city’s fire department and the mayor went viral after it was posted online.
Nine days after the Carmel fire department was criticized for a poor response and miscommunication during a strip mall fire in November, the video was created and posted on YouTube, according to local TV station WISH.
In the animated video the fire chief tells the mayor, “We need to talk to our members of the Carmel Fire Department and see how we can do better.”
The mayor responds, “Carmel is God’s country. We don’t have bad publicity here.”
