A former volunteer firefighter pleaded guilty to setting fire to a barn where he previously worked.
Joseph Stevanus, 22, of Rockwood, pleaded guilty in Somerset County Court to reckless burning for the Oct. 4 fire that destroyed the barn in Milford, causing $100,000 in damage.
Mr. Stevanus returned to help fight the fire, which also destroyed more than 2,000 hay bales, along with tools and equipment.
