CHICAGO — A woman filed a federal lawsuit Tuesday that claims the Chicago Fire Department’s “physical abilities test” discriminates against women.
Samantha Vasich said she trained and passed every part of the test but was still denied a job.
About 2 percent of the city’s firefighters are women, a Fire Department spokesman said.
