CLAREMORE, Okla. — Oklahoma citizens gathered to honor Battalion Chief Marty Osborne during a procession on Sunday.

Osborne, who passed away Friday at an Oklahoma hospital, had been receiving medical treatment for the past month, KTUL reports. The Claremore Fire Department and other public safety organizations escorted him back to the fire department during the procession.

"He's really touched a lot of people, especially in the community, but also in the public safety community," Chief Sean Douglas said.

Obsorne worked for the Claremore Fire Department for over three decades.

It is with deep sorrow that I am writing this post.. Today the CFD family lost one of our own. Please keep the Osborne...
