EMMITSBURG, Md. — The National Fallen Firefighters Candlelight Service is underway at National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Park in Emmitsburg, Maryland, as part of the 42nd National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend.
Captain Garon Mosby of the St. Louis Fire Department is hosting the candlelight service.
This year’s national tribute honors 79 firefighters who died in the line of duty in 2022 and 65 firefighters who died in previous years.
