NEW ORLEANS — Firefighters responded to reports of a fire at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
Members of the New Orleans Fire Department were on scene at the stadium, where dark smoke was reportedly billowing out of the roof, Fox 8 reported.
The cause of the fire was not known. Roof renovations to the stadium had been recently restarted after being interrupted by Hurricane Ida.
The stadium is scheduled to be the site of a game between the New Orleans Saints and the New York Giants on Oct. 3.
