Seattle, WA – True North® is pleased to announce that designer Paul Gleason has joined their organization to assist with the expansion of the company’s best-selling line of Wildland packs and bags. He brings with him a wealth of specialized experience, having spent the last fourteen years with Mystery Ranch® in the research, design and development of packs, pouches and armor carriers for the military and wildland firefighting industries.
Paul began his studies at Montana State University, and then continued his design education similar to an old world style apprenticeship; patternmaking, building gear by hand, and then eventually moving onto the design team where his area of expertise was technical load-bearing equipment.
Paul Gleason comments, “As a designer who has been working in the outdoor and military markets for 14 years on projects from small outdoor packs up to large external frame packs for military contracts, I look forward to joining the True North team and developing products that surpass the needs of a demanding customer.”
At True North®, Paul will work with founder and principal designer, Alyx Fier, to further expand True North®’s extensive line of innovative packs, bags and accessories.
