Waterous Announces Three New Platinum Service Centers

Waterous, a global leader in fire suppression technology today announced the appointing of our three Platinum Service Centers: Burton’s Fire of Modesto, California, Emergency Apparatus Maintenance (EAM) of Lino Lakes, Minnesota and Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus of Union Grove, Alabama.

Burton’s Fire was established in 1991 by brothers Ken and John Burton. Their 23,000 square foot facility specializes in pump rebuilding, foam system installations, chassis changeovers, truck modifications and refurbishments.

Emergency Apparatus Maintenance (EAM) was founded in 1987 and has a 12-bay full service fire apparatus repair and maintenance facility in Minnesota as well as locations in Wisconsin, Missouri and Iowa.

Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus has thirty-four full-time personnel occupying over 12,000 square feet which includes office space and fourteen apparatus service bays. BMFA’s mechanics, all of whom are EVT certified, perform pump tests, general repairs, preventative maintenance, body, collision and paint work.

The Platinum Service Center as awarded by Waterous means that all three of the centers have met or exceeded all critical criteria set forth by Waterous.

• Size of service facility
• Employees training (Waterous Mechanic’s Seminar, EVT Certification)
• Service capabilities (Installation of foam systems / CAFSystems)
• Pump testing capabilities (On site and mobile)
