EFJohnson Technologies, Inc. Highlights New Products at FDIC 2009

Company to demonstrate Project 25 compliant two-way radios for fire fighters

Irving, TX – EF Johnson Technologies, Inc. today announced that it will highlight its award-winning ES Series of Project 25 radios and new products including the Lightning™ Control Head for the 5300 Series Mobile Radio and the Discover™ GPS Speaker Microphone for the 5100 ES Series Portable Radio at the Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC) April 23 - 25, 2009 at the Indiana Convention Center.

“Our award-winning ES Series radios are a good fit for fire fighters due to the second-generation Enhanced (AMBE+2) Project 25 Vocoder for superior voice quality and reduction of background noise, submersible color housings, solid construction, and large knobs,” said Michael Jalbert, president and chief executive officer of EF Johnson Technologies, Inc. “Our new Lightning Control Head is the brightest and clearest display on the market, and can be seen even in bright sunlight. Fire fighters will find our new Discover GPS Speaker Microphone ideal for search and rescue missions, because it enables you to see in real time the location of your search teams and complements our portable radios.” FDIC is the largest showcase and exhibition of fire equipment in the world, Jalbert added.
