MANSFIELD, TX -- The Intelagard Macaw compressed air foam (CAF) backpack – the first portable, independent CAF backpack in the world – protects troops and equipment in Iraq. Equipped with Chemguard alcohol-resistant aqueous film-forming foam (AR-AFFF), the Macaw backpack can project fire-suppression foam up to 40 feet (12 meters), achieving quick knockdown while protecting the user.
