CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. — On Monday, October 2, 2023, Tempur Sealy, a global leader in premium sleep innovation, donated three brand new Tempur XL single mattresses to the Crawfordsville Fire Department, for the three new recruits, just before Fire Prevention Week next week.

Two years ago, Tempur Sealy also generously donated mattresses to the Crawfordsville Fire Department. As the department has grown, there is a need for more mattresses and Tempur Sealy saw this as an opportunity to support those in such an important role.

Firefighting requires physical and mental strength and a restful sleep plays a crucial role in maintaining health and performance of the CFD firefighters. The Crawfordsville Fire Department is deeply appreciative of Tempur Sealy’s generosity. The donation of mattresses will make a significant difference in the lives of the CFD team. Chief Scott Busenbark is thankful for the contribution and for the support of companies like Tempur Sealy, who recognize the importance of taking care of those who take care of our community.
