Lexipol, the leader in policy, training and wellness support for first responders and public servants, recently announced the introduction of new, exclusive content featuring prominent fire service leaders as part of its Master Class course series. These courses are offered through Lexipol’s FireRescue1 Academy learning management system.
The Master Class series, released in August 2021, has been expanded to include instruction from legendary risk management expert and Lexipol co-founder Gordon Graham. This series is exclusively available through FireRescue1 Academy and consists of five courses covering a range of risk management topics and their application to the fire service. This is the first time Graham’s risk management curriculum has been offered online, making it accessible to fire departments and fire service personnel across the U.S.
Another new addition to Master Class is a course on generational differences in the fire service, led by current U.S. Fire Administrator Dr. Lori Moore-Merrell.

Master Class brings the personal experiences of the most respected and recognized fire service experts to departments across the country. The courses are conversational and informative, allowing instructors to impart their wisdom, advice and knowledge of leadership, risk management and other critical skills. Each course is interactive and includes self-assessments, quizzes and open-ended discussion questions to provide an engaging and immersive learning experience, challenging learners to consider their own leadership style in a variety of potential situations.
