The Dallas Fire-Rescue Department will commemorate Dallas Firefighters who have their lives in the line of Duty. Since 1902, there have been 60 Dallas Firefighters that have passed away while serving the Dallas Fire-Rescue Department.
A memorial service titled “A Day of Reflection....A Salute to Heroes” will be held to pay tribute to these brave firefighters and their families on Saturday, October 22, 2005 at the Dodd J. Miller Jr. Training Center, The program will begin at 10:00 A.M. and a reception will immediately follow. The Dallas Fire-Rescue Department would like to invite everyone to this memorable occasion. There will be over 100 family members attending the ceremony. Please come and support those that have lost a loved one.
