This Annual Memorial Golf Tournament is held in honor of all fallen firefighters and in support of the families whose loved ones paid the ultimate price in the line of duty. All proceeds from this event will be presented to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to assist these firefighters’ families. Last year’s Tournament was a huge success and raised over $26,000 to support the Foundation’s programs. It should be noted that the total donations from the three previous tournaments totals $70,000, because of support by you and the American Fire Service. We need your help to continue to make a difference.
The Foundation cordially invites you to share in this golfing experience and support a great and meaningful cause. A great day is planned for all participants and golfers. Lunch will be served prior to tee-off time. A magnificent buffet dinner prepared by Chef Bob Fritts, Carroll Valley Resorts, will be served “under the tent” following the day’s golfing activities. Refreshments will be served before and during dinner. Soda, water and keg beer will also be available on the course for golfers.
If your business would like to support this event by sponsoring a green or tee, a finely-appointed sign displaying your organization’s name will be placed on a chosen green/tee clearly visible to all participants as they play their round of golf. In addition, each business sponsor’s name will be advertised very prominently in the golf program, distributed to all attendees. Further recognition for sponsorship will be announced during the awarding of prizes and closing ceremony.
All golfers will receive a golf towel, Foundation golf balls and various other golf-related items.
