Nominations are still being accepted for the annual IAFC Safety, Health and Survival Section Awards. These awards recognize both organizations and individuals of organizations (of any size or composition) that have made a significant contribution to the overall environment of health and safety in their organizations and/or the fire service. Awards will be presented at Fire-Rescue International in the following categories:
- Alan Brunacini Fire Service Executive Safety Award (cosponsored by Provident Insurance)
- Garry Briese IAFC Safety Performance Award
- Safety Officer of the Year (cosponsored by FDSOA)
- Fire Service Organizational Safety Award
