The E-flare HZ510R (Red) traffic/personal safety beacon provides a compact, easy to use, safe, and environmentally friendly alternative to the use of incendiary strike flares. The E-flare combines 8 hi-intensity L.E.D.’s with a patented lens design to produce a flash pattern that can be seen over 1 mile away. The E-flare beacon is powered by 2 Alkaline “D” cell batteries that provide 50+ hours of operation while flashing at a rate of between 165 and 185 times per minute.
Each E-flare comes with its own rubber base plate for deploying on the roadway. The E-flare also has two (2) integral body clips that allow it to be clipped to a belt so that it can be used as a personal safety/distress beacon as well.
