INDIANAPOLIS — Oshkosh announced that its Airport Products division has introduced a new Striker Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting vehicle.
According to a release, the vehicle was unveiled at the Fire Department Instructors Conference in Indianapolis.
“The new Oshkosh Striker was designed and built to meet the most demanding fire rescue environments faced by our airport customers,” said Robert Bohn, Oshkosh Corp. chairman and chief executive officer. “The final design of this vehicle is a testament to the input from airport fire chiefs and firefighters around the globe. We integrated their ideas and needs with our technical, engineering and manufacturing expertise to create a truly remarkable ARFF vehicle that will protect firefighters and help save lives in airport emergencies.”
