OAK BROOK, Ill., — Federal Signal Corporation, a leader in advancing security and well-being, announced today that the Hillsborough County, Fla., Board of County Commissioners awarded Federal Signal’s E-ONE subsidiary a six-year contract for fire rescue vehicles valued at approximately $33 million over its term.
“E-ONE offers specialized construction that assures the highest level of safety and reliability,” said Assistant Chief Ron Rogers of Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR). “The greatest attribute of E-ONE is its ability to break out of the mold and build an apparatus that meets our unique needs.”
HCFR is one of the most highly-trained departments in the country. Serving a growing population of more than 785,120, the department must stay on top of its constantly evolving needs, and E-ONE is honored to help them meet this challenge.

Over the next six years, HCFR will purchase a variety of highly custom units, including advanced aerials, industrial pumpers and various other specialized apparatus that incorporate advanced technologies.
