BATON ROUGE, La. — After weeks of planning and practicing, a Baton Rouge Firefighter got down on one knee and proposed to the love of his life in front of a crowded Louisiana mall.

About a month ago, 29-year-old Bryan Moncrief began planning his proposal to 24-year-old Myranda Adams. She is an LSU graduate, with degrees in History and African American Studies. She was also on the LSU Legacy dance line. Because dance is such a big part of Myranda’s life, Bryan knew a flash mob would be perfect for when he popped the big question.

It happened Saturday at 5 p.m. More than 50 of their family and friends were involved in the planning and choreography. It started with a group of girls dancing, and turned into a line of her family coming forward, giving hugs and kisses and handing Myranda red roses. When the crowd parted, Bryan began walking towards Myranda, all dressed up, and he only had eyes for her.
