ENGLAND — A hilarious video released by firefighters claims to show residents how they can save their lives — with a lightsaber.
Mirror.co.uk reported that the video, made by the Kent Fire and Rescue Service, coincides with the release of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
The video shows a firefighter entering a property and using the Force to open the door, wearing a mask that makes his breathing sound like Darth Vader. After walking through the house, the firefighter uses his lightsaber to gently push the smoke alarm button to test if the batteries are working.
“You don’t have to be a Jedi to keep your family safe from fire,” community safety manager Charlie Smith said. “Follow our simple safety tips to protect your loved ones.”
