CHICAGO — A firefighter crew had to call for police after a gun was fired at the scene of a medical call.
CBS Chicago reported that a Chicago Fire Department crew was responding to a call about the death of a grandmother when someone fired a gun into a closet.
Police were called to the scene, and they recovered a weapon while they were there. One person was arrested.
Officials said no one was hurt in the incident and shots were not fired at first responders. According to police, it is unclear if the shot was intentional or if it happened accidentally.
The incident is currently under investigation.
