GLENWOOD, Minn. — A firefighter died Monday after collapsing at his fire hall in Minnesota.
Glenwood Firefighter Matthew Chan, 23, had gone to the fire hall to use weight-room facilities, and was not on duty at the time of his death.
Responders found Firefighter Chan unresponsive and not breathing, and were unable to revive him.
Firefighter Chan was part of “a fire department family,” according to The Star Tribune, as his father was a longtime member of the Fire Department before retiring.
