Mass. FF hospitalized following fatal 2-alarm house fire

Flames at the multi-family home reportedly reached up to 30 feet high before crews were able to knock it down

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — A firefighter was hospitalized after battling a house fire that killed one resident.

Flames at the multi-family home reportedly reached up to 30 feet high before crews were able to knock it down, Boston 25 news reported.

The Northborough Fire Department was assisted by members from both the Southborough and Westborough departments. A Southborough firefighter was transported to the hospital for heat exhaustion.

The fire is under investigation.
