Phoenix firefighter burned fighting apartment blaze
The fire spread quickly, damaging four residences

PHOENIX — A Phoenix firefighter was burned while battling an apartment blaze Saturday morning.
Firefighter crews arrived at the scene at about 5 a.m. and found an active fire that quickly spread to several apartments, according to FOX 10 Phoenix. A total of four residences were damaged in the blaze.
One firefighter was hospitalized with burns to his hands, officials said. All of the apartment residents managed to escape while firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
