CHICAGO — A paramedic was grazed by a bullet from a drive-by shooting while he attended to a patient.
A Chicago Fire Department paramedic was tending to a patient in the emergency room at Stroger Hospital when the shooting occurred, WGN 9 reported. A bullet hit the baseball cap the medic was wearing.
Police are still looking for the individual who fired the shots, which witnesses say was riding in an “older model green Buick.”
The incident is under investigation by Area Three detectives.
