Miss. fire station, 3 apparatus destroyed in fire
Crews from five departments responded to the blaze at the Nicholson Volunteer Fire Department station; no one was hurt

PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. — A fire engulfed a Nicholson Volunteer Fire Department station Monday night, WLOX reported.
No one was hurt in the fire at Station 2, according to the Pearl River County Office of Emergency Services, but two fire engines, a brush truck and firefighting equipment were destroyed.
The building sustained extensive structural damage, as a Picayune-Item photo shows.
Crews from five fire departments responded and quickly extinguished the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
