STEVENS POINT, Wis. — Three central Wisconsin firefighters, joined by their co-workers at Cintas Stevens Point, recently walked to raise awareness of and funds for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

Lt. Josh Mancl, Port Edwards Fire Department, Deputy Chief Wes Mork, Iola Fire and Ambulance, and Firefighter Patrick Knautz, Iola Fire and Ambulance, and a dozen other co-workers from Cintas Stevens Point walked 5.7 miles on a community trail or climbed 2,200 stair steps, in honor of the steps climbed by FDNY firefighters on 9/11.

Together the group has raised $835 towards their goal of $1,000. Cintas employees across the country are participating in similar stair climbing events and to-date have raised $52,073.
