2 Mo. providers hospitalized after ambulance struck, flips

ST. LOUIS — Two EMS providers were transported to the hospital after a crash with another vehicle while turning at an intersection, First Alert 4 reported.

The driver and passenger in the personal vehicle were also transported.

According to St. Louis police, the ambulance had its lights and siren activated during a turn at an intersection when the passenger vehicle struck the rig, flipping it on its side.

No patients were on board the ambulance at the time of the incident.
