NEW HAVEN, Conn. — New Haven officials say a city firefighter has died of a brain injury 10 days after falling at a fire station.
Mayor John DeStefano Jr. says Patrick Reardon, a 14-year department veteran, died Tuesday afternoon.
He had been in critical condition at the Hospital of St. Raphael since April 11, when he fell and struck his head at the Dixwell fire station.
