Cause of deaths: Raul Peraza Cortes and Roberto Barbosa Montiel responded to a shopping mall fire believed to be started by an electrical short circuit. Both firefighters died after a section of roof collapsed on them as they were entering the building, trying to prevent the fire from spreading.
