'Emergency!' anniversary special to air Saturday

The one-hour tribute includes interviews with Randy Mantooth, Kevin Tighe and others, and COZI TV will air a marathon of episodes beforehand

The “Emergency! 50! The Show That Saved Your Life” anniversary special will air at 7 p.m. Eastern on Saturday on COZI TV.

The one-hour tribute includes interviews with Randy Mantooth, Kevin Tighe and more.

Before it airs, the broadcast channel will air a marathon of episodes starting at 3 p.m. Eastern time.

"Emergency!" premiered on Jan. 15, 1972, and became popular and influential.
