INDIANA COUNTY, Pa. — A crash critically injured two firefighters heading to a reported fire Sunday night in Indiana County.
State police said Cherry Tree volunteer firefighters Michael and Crystal Keith, both of Cherry Tree, hit a utility pole on Front Street in the borough about 8:40 p.m.
The fire chief discovered the wreck on the way to the fire, police said.
Michael Keith, who was driving a Ford Taurus, was flown to Conemaugh Medical Center; Crystal Keith was flown to Altoona Medical Center, police said.
