BUCYRUS, Ohio — Authorities say a fire at a mobile home without smoke alarms in north-central Ohio killed three children and injured a teenage boy.
State Fire Marshal’s spokesman Shane Cartmill says the four were the only people in the home at the time of the Thursday night fire in Bucyrus. Cartmill says the teenager was hospitalized in stable condition Friday morning.
Names have not been released, and authorities have not given the ages of the victims. Cartmill says officials are awaiting preliminary findings from autopsies being conducted Friday and positive identification of the victims.
Investigators say the fire started in the living room but have not determined the cause.
