CHICAGO — A Chicago firefighter was found dead at his firehouse Saturday morning.
Lt. Patrick Hannon, 51, was found unresponsive and transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead from natural causes, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
The firefighter’s wife is also a firefighter-paramedic within the department.
“Fire Commissioner Robert Hoff and the command staff, as well as rank and file of the Chicago Fire Dept. express our sorrow at this loss of one of our own,” Fire Media Affairs Dir. Larry Langford said.
