DALLAS — A wounded Dallas firefighter-paramedic expressed his gratitude for those that helped him after being shot while responding to a call.
Firefighter-paramedic William An’s message appeared on Dallas' City Hall Facebook page.
“I just really want to thank everyone that got me to this point here. The ER doctors and nurses, they literally worked a miracle,” An said in the video.
An spent a month in the hospital and underwent 12 surgeries after being critically injured in a shooting while responding to a call.
