The Holmatro Safety Team Transporter is making pitstops in Brentwood, TN (Sept 25-26) & St. Louis (Oct 1- 2) as Holmatro gears up emergency extrication training for local First Responders.
Unique in nature, this program provides a hands-on opportunity for participants to practice extrication techniques on late model vehicles.
Multiple Rescue Scenarios
The training consists of two morning classroom sessions followed by a rotation through four separate scenarios:
• Car on Side/Difficult Access
• Car vs. Semi Rear Side Under run
• Car on Roof with Crush
• Crush Injury Syndrome
The class will be split into four groups to allow everyone hands-on use of the tools as they cycle through each scenario.
Homatro Safety Team Doctors
Dr. Michael Olinger of the Holmatro Safety Team will discuss Medical Trauma Response to First Responders in Brentwood. Dr. Olinger has been a member of the Holmatro Safety Team since INDYCAR’s inception as on-track physician. Dr. Andrew Stevens, medical director of the Road to Indy Racing Series and Holmatro Safety Team physician, will share his knowledge in St Louis.
