DUNSTABLE, Mass. — A skydiver has been caught in a tree in Dunstable but appears to be unhurt.

Carolyn Goldman, the chief instructor at Skydive Pepperell, says a man affiliated with the club came down in a wooded area at about 11 a.m. Monday and got stuck 40 to 50 feet up in the tree.

Goldman says the man was talking to rescue workers and said he was fine.

She says although this was not his first jump, he was a “relatively inexperienced” skydiver. She did not disclose the man’s name.

The skydiver was taken to Lowell General Hospital for evaluation, Dunstable police said.

Goldman, who has nearly 20 years experience, says she can only remember a couple other times when a skydiver from the center has been stuck in a tree.

Skydive Pepperell personnel are working with local authorities to bring the man down.
