Dubai Fire Services Receives New High-Speed 48 & 34 Foot Aluminum Fire Boats

DUBAI - Half way across the World stationed at the Port of Dubai between the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman are two FireStorm vessels designed by MCM for Dubai’s Fire Services.

The 48 foot vessel can hit a whopping speed of 38 knots with assistance from the twin Cummins QSM-11 engines with 670 HP @ 2300 RPM and 364 Hamilton jets as propulsion. With the Darley Twin 1750’s, it pumps close to an impressive 5500 GPM. This is imperative for putting out the most extreme fires on the water or shore side by its larger diameter stern connections.

The 34 foot vessel can hit a top speed of 36 knots with assistance from the twin Cummins 320 HP @ 3900 RPM and two Hamilton 241 jets. With the Darley 1750, it pumps close to an impressive 2600 GPM.

Brigadier Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi, Director General and his team are excited about the new arrival.
