LAREDO, Texas — A traffic accident occurred Monday morning involving a local fire engine which sent an individual to the hospital.
The incident occurred at 7:41 a.m., as a collision at the corner of Albany Drive and Big Bend Boulevard occurred involving the fire engine. The situation is currently under investigation by the Laredo Fire Department.
According to the LFD, the person in the other car was treated on the scene and then sent to the Laredo Medical Center.
While no firefighter involved was harmed, the LFD sent its thoughts and prayers to the driver.
